Maccabi USA will be sending 3 teams to the 2015 Pan Am Maccabi Games in Santiago Chile. The games will be taking place from December 26, 2015 to January 5, 2016.

Head Coach: Zachary Weinberg
This is Zach’s first Maccabi Experience. He is a current Graduate Assistant with Northwestern State University and a former Head Coach for Camden Catholic High School’s Girls Volleyball Team.
Men’s Open Team
Head Coach: Samuel Moyerman
Sam bookended his volleyball playing career with Maccabi tournaments. His first experience with Maccabi was as an athlete for the Philadelphia team in the 1992 JCC Games in Baltimore. He most recently played for the US Men’s team in the Pan Am Games in Buenos Aires in 2007. Sam has been the Head Coach for Community College of Philadelphia, Philly Boys Volleyball Club, and Haverford High School. He has been involved with High Performance (both KRVA and USAV) and has won multiple awards including The Robert Lindsay USAV Award, EPCC Coach of the Year, and twice been IVL Coach of the Year.
Jake Kaplan is sophomore at Heritage High School in Leesburg, Virginia. He plays for Braddock Road Youth Club in Burke, Virginia and for the last three seasons has been on teams that have earned Open Bids to the USAV Boys Junior National Championships. Jake is in the National Team Pipeline and has participated in USA Volleyball High Performance camps since 2012. Outside of volleyball, he enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends. He is honored to be a part of the Pan American Maccabi Games men's volleyball team and looks forward to representing his country and his people next December in Santiago.
Alec is a 2013 graduate of East Brunswick High School in East Brunswick, New Jersey, where he was a two year letter-winner. He earned all Greater Middlesex Conference Second Team honors for his performance during my senior season. After graduating from EBHS Alec moved on to Ramapo College, where he am currently entering my junior season, and second season as a starter. To be a part of Team USA means a great deal to Alec, as he am incredibly proud to be a Jewish American. To represent his country and faith is the highest honor, and he looks forward to doing so with all that he has to give.
Women’s Open Team
Head Coach: Joseph Agrest
Coach Agrest has been involved with JCC Maccabi for many years. He is the current Head Coach of the Women’s Volleyball Team at Yeshiva University and runs the Bensonhurst Volleyball Club out of Brooklyn, NY. Joe has many years of experience working with USAV High Performance.
